Credit where it's due
AniScroll creates none of this data. The entries, the artwork, the themes, the scores — all of it comes from open projects and the communities that have maintained them, mostly unpaid, for years.
This page names them. Some require it; the rest have earned it.
Data
- AniList
The backbone: entries, titles, synopses, cover art, scores, genres, season relations, airing schedule, characters — and your list sync.
- fanart.tv
Artwork, logos, banners and backgrounds. Also the fallback for episode thumbnails when no image of the episode exists.
- AnimeThemes
Opening and ending themes: song titles, artists, and the video clips playable in the Opening / Ending tab.
- MyAnimeList
The per-episode community scores shown on the Scores tab.
- Jikan
The open API that makes MyAnimeList data reachable.
- TMDB
The wide key art behind the hero banners, the title logos, and the episode thumbnails ani.zip is missing.
- ani.zip
Per-episode titles and stills, keyed straight on the AniList id — nothing to map, nothing to mismatch.
- Fribb/anime-lists
The cross-database ID map, without which none of these could be matched to each other.
- AniSkip
Community-sourced timestamps for skipping openings and endings.
- Anime-Skip
Opening/ending skip timestamps, as a complement.
- trace.moe
Search by image: give it a screenshot and it names the anime, the episode and the second it was taken at.
- YouTube
The trailers — on the info page, and the one that plays under the cursor on a card.
- Google Traduction
Translates the synopses and episode titles that only exist in one language.
